Re: “Voices of Colored Libraries.” In researching “In Silence of Indifference: Racism and Jim Crow Segregated Public School Libraries” (2024) I had the good fortune to go through the primary source materials gathered in a storage room just off the Dean’s Office at the University of North Carolina Central University’s School of Library and Information Studies (Durham). Not only does it host the BCALA papers, that cache of materials also contains scores of stories about this subject that have yet to discover. Wayne A. Wiegand
