Hi friends —
The LHRT Executive Committee will meet during ALA’s Annual Conference at the end of June to attend to important round table business. Our meeting is on Wednesday, June 30th, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern (12:00 noon Central). The meeting is open to all ALA members, as well as guests with an interest in LHRT’s activities.
Please note that the meeting will occur online, via Zoom (see URL and dial-in information at the end of this message). It is not occurring within ALA’s conference platform, EventScribe, because we did not want LHRT members to have to pay a hefty conference fee in order to learn about round table activities and participate in decisionmaking.
The finalized agenda will be distributed soon. So far, it includes:
*Final approval of LHRT’s Sept. 2021-Aug. 2022 budget
*Discussion of possibilities for LHRT’s new logo
*Library History Seminar debriefing
*Update on pending/unfinished business and transition to incoming officers
If you would like the Executive Committee to add any other items to this agenda, please let me know and send me related documents no later than Monday, June 20th.
